The Atlantis Collective write stories in a cave at the bottom of the sea. A multi-coloured glass bottle floats to the surface bobbing and sparkling in the surf before washing up on shore. A boy picks up the bottle and removes the cork with his teeth. Pop, and all the words spill out, the poor boy struck dumb ever since. So far, no one has been able to get the words back into the bottle. The ink sticks like oil to the plumage of water-fowl and seeps into the sand, corrupting the DNA of sand-hoppers and micro-organisms who have burrowed to their death trying to escape the dying thoughts of pathologists; the tragic aspirations of the dead; the toxic leakage of the lust and shame that glints off these shards of experience we call my life or yours.
